Stopheim does not understand the assassins

I have long noticed that with the Assassins “Stopgaim” some strange and unhealthy relations. Tasteless Openvorld-gaps with advanposts, which are far from assassinism, like a spear of Tsar Leonid from Newton’s laws, it is customary to sing odes here. And when the “Jubisoft”, breaking away from the croacans and sexual harassment, still gives us that at least it remotely resembles the same Assassin of 2007, curses and passages immediately begin to pour on his head.

In some completely fantastic way, SG throws darts into a bearded face in a hood and miss each time for a kilometer.

Grind – good, registered missions – bad

If you are now reviewing SG reviews to the Assassin series, you will find a funny trend. The further the authors depart from the original concept, the higher the assessment.

Only please do not sit down on the beloved skate “EvaluationBsis”! “What are you, Royal Cheese, for the sake of evaluating reviews? For whom is the author bursting here?”. I answer in order: yes, I look for the sake of evaluation, because for me, as for millions of gamers, this is an indicator – it is worth buying a game or it is better to pass by. No, the author is not in vain, because his arguments are interesting to me to the same extent as his assessment. And they also allow you to compare the reasoning with the final verdict. Why should one be cancel the other?

And let’s cleanly. Assessment is a feeling of a game compressed in one word. Without it, the review will be as inferior as an assessment without arguments.

But even if I hadn’t looked at the assessment at all, I would still understand that the fan fiction of a 13-year-old girl based on “Legends and myths of ancient Greece” “Stopheim” for some reason comes in more than an attempt to make a real assassin.

Judge for yourself. “Black Flag”, where the gorgeous atmosphere, but at the same time there is no assassinism for a gram, Maxim Kulakov appreciated the raisins. At the same time, the magnificent “Unity” the same author branded the passing game (who is interested, I had a “devil’s lawyer” for this game 100 years ago).

I will not Russus here about the fact that 90% of the playing time of the Black Flag is a grind of identical boats or surveillance after someone. “Jubisoft” is generally a unique company. Only she can turn cheerful pirate jokes – the search for treasures, bathing with sharks, boarding – into a dull routine. It’s like if in the Pirates of the Caribbean Jack Sparrow Draised the deck for two hours.

Yes, in UNITY there probably also was grind (if you consider the GRIND to fulfill optional contracts and opening towers). But here everything was built not on a million of side activities, but on the most interesting – on the murders.

At the same time, the “unity” and stealth are slightly deeper than whistling bushes from a pirate saga, and the fighting does not come down to counterattacks alone. Here it was necessary to really learn to fenger, read opponents, on time and most importantly, to respond correctly to their actions. By and large, this is the first attempt to make a game about the assassin since the ezio trilogy. Not about the pirate, not about the Greek mercenary, not about Viking – about the assassin. Everything here is built around the murder of goals, here is the best in the Parkur series and the best combat system, here is a huge city with buildings on a scale of 1: 1 … And all this splendor receives a convent, because, you see, you can’t whistle and drag the bodies.

But the “Odyssey”, which has nothing to do with the Assassins nominally, comes up with a bang. A game that is dumped with grindwalls the size of a great Chinese wall, in which a monotonous gameplay is smeared with liquid snot for 200 hours of the same mission, and quests tell an exciting story about a wooden eye in the ass of a goat. This is exactly our choice.

It is only worth the unfortunate French to take a timid step back towards the assassin, they immediately pour slide on them.

Mirage dilemma

Let’s reason logically. Here we have a “Assassin Credo: Mirage”-a game that was conceived as DLC to Valgalla, but grew up in an independent project, when the Yubisoft bosses realized that their audience had already found a French simple of Korean MMO-grindiles and wants to return to the good old assassin.

We take Valgalla, which I put the SG “boastfully”, we reduce the at least picking up the RPG elements, make the game for 30-40 hours instead of 200, improve the parkour due to the locked location and instead of incoherent stories we make a single storyline.

For the first time in a long time, we got a game where you do not need to break into and kill all living things, but we need to carefully think over your actions and try to get to the goal unnoticed (bassim is quite flimsy, but they kill here very quickly). For the first time in a long time, we were given a huge beautiful city with many parkour tracks and places for hide and seek. For the first time we were given a bunch of gadgets for quiet elimination. For the first time since the time of Syndicate and Unity, we have had missions where the goal can be eliminated in several different ways.

And this gets all from Stopheim Prikhodnyak. Yes, the fighting is terrible, and the control is not the most responsive (the costs of an updated engine on which they made a mythical trilogy). Yes, the search system is more likely to infuriate than entertaining. But this is much more reminiscent of Altair’s adventures on the Holy Land than everything that has happened over the past 16 years.

I catch an incredible buzz from the fact that I manage to quietly get to the goal and kill her. Much more than from a typical gameplay cycle at Valgalla – burst, interrupted the guard, ran on. It is much more interesting for me to follow the history of Basim than to resolve the political intrigues of the English princes, who have nothing to do with my hero. I am more interesting to fulfill the usual Assassin contracts in Mirage than the good half of the sides in the Odyssey.

Moreover, each of them can be performed in a completely different way. I like a huge, full of secrets Baghdad, which, like revolutionary Paris, can be crossed from end to end, without going down the roofs.

For the first time in many years, we were given a real assassin without grinds and races on an empty field for 15 minutes. And you are unhappy. Admit honestly guys. You just don’t like assassins. You are closer to the faceless and crooked clone of the Witcher with a billion of questions on the map than a unique game about a medieval killer who was ahead of her time.

Instead of the afterword

I understand perfectly well that comparing reviews of different authors is not quite honest. I know that Vasya Halper loves Openvorld-groan, which he himself had previously honestly admitted. As, apparently, Maxim Kulakov, who was delighted with the “Black Flag”, where horns and legs remained from the Assassins, but at the same time was merciless to “Unity” – the Assassin Assassin himself since the time of “Revelations”.

But at the same time, I am not quite clear why every time the authors are trying to return to the origins, this meets the strict resistance from our beloved portal. It seems that the editorial office simply does not have an understanding of what the Olds love the assassin. You agree?

The best comments

Again twenty -five, we return to the old rams.

No, Unity was bad. It had interesting ideas, but not Mindepositcasino one was realized at least at a good level. 10 carved mechanics came to one innovation. Parkaur was innovative, but he became the best only in the syndicate, in UNITY because of the lousy realization and bugs he infuriated unrealistic. The plot in the series, in principle, did not stay after Ezio. These are some sort of non-elaboration from the context without beginning and endlessly, and unity is no exception. And what are the side side in unity … mmm … instead of the cut and thought -out missions, a green cooperative was given to us. This is definitely the best assassin, undoubtedly.

As for the Mirage. Firstly, this is the “return to the origins” to which everyone reenses like that-the thrown stick to the dog, and the players, like faithful dogs, only wave their tails and rejoice. If the game really took some step towards its ancestors, then this step is very timid, indecisive. Just add a fan service and move to the same land and approximately in the same era-not enough. For which you praise a mirage was in UNITI and was fulfilled badly, and as I understand it, here it is approximately at the same level. And the ears of Valgalla are only exacerbated everywhere. Parkour is generally a disgrace, but it is not even the fault of the Mirage, it is bad from Origins and does not change to the iot, remaining the same wretched. As animations in the game of 10 years ago, it can be better than in the modern aaa-game, for me the riddle of the Jubisoft triangle.

And a person who has been sitting on the site for more than one year, would have to know that for different games, different people made reviews with different priorities and, accordingly, different assessments. To compare them is simply unfair. I also disagree with any assessment of the AC, starting from the second part, but depending on the review, listening to the theses, I understand what this or that assessment was put up for. So.

No, I don’t agree with you.

Plus part about Unity and in addition to remind you one small and funny, but important thing: the hero of “unity” could not sit on a bench – if you please study this skill in the pumping tree. Funny!

The school has a system of assessments in 4 gradations of Zhezh (2.3.4.5) or I did not understand?

Again, the blog about what bad players put the wrong assessment, but how much can. Well, what kind of old. I am Old series. You can say a fanbo. I bought and pass every new part (Valgall really did not end to the end all the same), not one time. I looked at a few footages of the Mirage – I just threw off this garbage, although I have a free legal way to play in it (deuce on PS5), because I can’t even poke such rubbish. This is the first assassin of which I consciously miss.

Basim is a character who is not needed, who does not care about, who is essentially a negative character, if you went through Valgalla, then you understand what it is about. Oh yes. The game seems to position itself as an independent game in the series, just as I know, it is still tied by titanium threads to Valgalla and leads to it and if you have not passed Valgalla, then you will not understand nichrome.

Arguments to put the passage to the game, Elman provided mass. And I agree with him. To return the goals from Unity and cheat Stealth, the battles and parkour is not to make the good old assassin, to make an assassin with a cherished stealth and battleship. And with a plot of a plot that you can’t buy without passing the Valgalla you hated by you (and me). Well, what an assessment can be here? Raisin? Booking? No. This is a pure pure water. Passing story without some kind of global plot. Passing gameplay tries to be as before but not able and degrading (compare by the way, the animation of Parru in UNITI and in the MIRAGE, in the Mirage, everything is even worse than in Valhalla).

P.WITH. If this crap remained in the form of the DLC to Valgalla, which it was originally, the questions for this game would be much less.

In general, you still need to take into account the context of those years. Unity, despite the huge beautiful city (which everything was allocated in reviews), had a million glitches at the start and rather strange gamemerying solutions. The fourth assassins came out after a fairly controversial third part, and as I recall from those times, just captured everyone by setting and innovations. It’s a little hard for me to reason, my love for the assassins went along with the trilogy of Ezio in his youth, and neither UNITI, nor Orijing, nor Mirage did not attract me.
And the Olds, as usual, themselves do not know what they want. Everyone just wants a good game with interesting characters, it seems to me. But modern anniversary does not know how to do this, it is busy with Afro-viking.

PPKS. We need the good old assassin, not the jerking off the grind. The latest trilogy was able to pass only with the coach so that the grindwall could not fight, because he was sick of!

No need to turn the assassin into RPG.

Because the only way to pump a “daw” is to board a million identical boats. This is the only way to get money and resources for pumping. All boats are anxious according to the same scheme, so piracy turns into a routine very quickly. And the repetition of the same boring actions for the sake of obtaining a certain in -game currency is called a grind.

The joke is that you need to pump the ship at least half, since it is important for plot missions. Without a diving bell, you will not get the medicine from the sunken galleon. Without lining of the case and powerful guns, you cannot break the blockade of Nassau. In any case, you will have to grind whether you want it or not.

I went through all the main games of the series, and to be honest, this is the first assassin that I will not even try. On the first hours on straps, the game caused maximum boredom.

“The author’s opinion may not coincide with the opinion of the editorial office”)
Reviews on the Assassins were made by different people at different times, so it is not surprising that the criteria are staggering in different directions.

Yes, where are you in the black flag of the grind, then then find

Well, they caught up with the fact that the anniversary is now on the verge of bankruptcy, and all the franchises are dead.

Watching the game on stream allows you to roughly understand what the game is. If you doubt about whether the game will come to you or not, then this is quite a way to understand yours or not. If the game looks like a complete shit, then it does not need to be bought to understand this.

All these conversations about “Ah how wrong X appreciated the game Y” there are already as many as I know SG, and outside the SG this is full.

But there is a double situation here.

SG has definitely a category of reviews for games, where the author of the review, to put it mildly, does not get an assessment to the project audience.
For me, this became noticeable on a bunch of sessions reviews (Chivalry 2 and its passage), and it was also noticeable precisely on large series such as Assassins and Call of Duty.

And if you look like that, then the reviews are really strange. The strengths of the series of games are often missed and preferences are given to generally incomprehensible details (in the same column, the assessment of the game was often built from the plot, and the multiplayer was discussing casually without highlighting it, which I see as a very controversial decision)

But what’s the moment. This is here we are, as the appreciation of the series/genre/squeeze of games, we look at the assessment, as if something strange.
But aren’t these estimates made for a mass user? Well, that is, not everyone who looks at the assassin and thinks “is it worth me to play” this is the old assassins.

And it seems to me, the same assassin Mirage, on the part of the fans is probably a really pleasant game, but from the side of the ordinary user looks much more passing than a conditional valgala. (here I judge just as a third -party user who personally felt Assassinov in general at 4 parts).

Of course, all does not cancel the places of really strange assessments, but it seems to me that this is an important angle that should be noted.

P.WITH. Personally, my opinion, much more the problem is that sometimes the author’s choice for a review of the game looks far from the most correct. At least there are reviews on the channel, which, according to the sensations, did a person who did not really love a series/genre/subchanre of the game, because of which not only the assessment was far from the fanbaza, but the reasoning of the author’s reasoning themselves look strange.

Well, I somehow evaluate my impressions of games by … my impressions of games, and not from how much they are Trutm to the first game of the series. The same Divinity series generally jumps from a diacoloid to RPG from a third person to RTS to isometry, and I completely enjoyed everyone, instead of falling on the rain and screaming into heaven.

I understand perfectly when people prefer games with emphasis on stealth and are happy about this. I don’t understand nonsense about “return to the roots”.

Yes, this is not even a matter of assessment, but in the fact that the reviewers are not able to appreciate what the Olds love the series. In a review on a mirage, the author scolded the game the whole video, but at the same time did not notice its positive aspects at all.

For me, this is the best assassin since the time of “Unity”. And from the review it followed that the game is full of slag.

Well, Ezio and the first is generally different games. Ezio trilogy is more romantic-teenage when the first part is a more severe and gray game about real realities of the Middle Ages. This is expressed both in characters and in the color scheme. The first two parts of the Ezio trilogy follow the path of such a good pop history about the bottom, where drug addicts and prostitutes save everyone. And the villains are not people with complex motives, but “you need more gold”. The first part shows that on each side there are simply people. The game does not show assassins as Robin Gudov. What will she do in the Ezio trilogy
Of course, both things are good in their own way, well, these are completely different games. Therefore, it is not clear how to give the game as the first and second part at the same time

It was 2023. Stopheim users continued to fight about assessments without forgetting to tear them out of context.

Assessment is a feeling of a game compressed in one word. Without it, the review will be as inferior as an assessment without arguments.

A lot of bloggers laying out their reviews/opinion without evaluating YouTube with this statement can argue.

Stopgim, too, is time to get rid of the assessment system in order to finally force people to think with their heads, not to take everything to jerking off the dials/assessments.

And let’s cleanly. Assessment is a feeling of a game compressed in one word. Without it, the review will be as inferior as an assessment without arguments.

Well, on the one hand, the assessment, of course, is important for the integrity of perception, but on the other hand, I personally, seeing a review of the SG to the Mirage, realized that I would definitely acquire it and pass it, although I have not touched the assassins for a long time.

It was also with Death Stranding: all gaming journalists listed a pile of the minuses of the game, pierced why it was not a masterpiece, and how many frank game design of oversigning in it. But at the same time, the practical in each review contained tons of a seriously aware positive of this project. In the end, I bought it, went and did not regret. I agree with everything that I saw before in the review: both with criticism and with laudatory epithets. Although it would be much more logical to conclude that the game is simply quite controversial and pass by it.

The result for viewing is important, but this is not an ultimatic summary. Steeper overall impression.

Well, as I already said, I actually sold this review with the rating of “Prikhodnak”, and the previous “raisins” and “commendable” were not forced to even look towards the Assassins.

Maybe of course now they don’t put 1 for completely disgusting works, such as, for example, works, where there will be one line “I don’t care”. I received such estimates a couple of times when I studied.

But in general, at school, they also have an assessment with a minus or plus. So there are not 5 gradations.
